.ON DECEMBER 6TH Republicans declined President Joe Biden’s ask for $106bn of funding, the majority of it to assist arm Ukraine, on the basis that its provisions to get America’s southern boundary performed not progress good enough. A group of legislators now appear near blowing a bipartisan bargain on migration rules, believed to include harder policies as the rate of Republican support. Yet it looks likely to be defeated in the House of Agents.
